In early summer last year (2011), I wasn’t very sure whether I should take help from an admissions consultant. Then, a friend of mine, who was heading to the Wharton school that summer, shared her personal experience from the year before. She mentioned that she took professional help for her interview and regretted for not doing the same for essays.
That conversation opened my eye to assess my prep. situation and I immediately realized that I should seek professional help for my essays. The biggest reason I felt for that was, without the careful reading by a veteran admissions consultant, it would be difficult for me to benchmark my essays. And, I knew it was extremely important not only to prevail in the competitive race for the top schools, but also to have some peace of mind.
I heard about Adam before and reached out to have a skype call. After our initial conversation, I immediately decided to work with him.
Throughout my work with Adam over couple of months, I found him to be extremely professional. He was always quick. At times, he was critical, for good reasons of course.
When I was struggling a little bit for some of the difficult essay topics (particularly of MIT Sloan and Stanford GSB), the brainstorming session we had over skype proved to be handy, generating new ideas for essays. The exercise between me and adam (sending him 1st draft, getting his comments, sending him the revised draft,…..) also helped me to finish my essays in time. So, it was useful from time/schedule management perspective as well.
I am happy that I decided to work with Adam. And, would like to recommend him to the applicants of 2012 and beyond. Good luck!!
