Adam was in the minority group that believed in my ability and background. In the first “get to know” call itself, he took considerable time to understand my story and motivations, providing constructive analysis and feedback. I ended it with a lot more faith in myself.
From the moment we started working together, what stood out for me was Adam’s unwavering commitment to creating unique and personalized stories for both application essays and possible interview questions. Having gone through the process, I can’t emphasize enough (really can’t – it’s all that matters) how important this is– it helped me get a 55% scholarship at a US B school and a 75% scholarship at an Indian B school. Not bad for someone from an overrepresented pool and with an average GRE for the pool!
Another thing that stood out for me was Adam’s punctuality. It’s a very underrated quality (believe me!). Even amidst the busy deadline season, his replies were prompt and contained detailed feedback, helping me finish my applications.
I was almost amazed by the repository of information Adam possesses. It’s just not limited to school-specific information (you can read on his blog for free), admission statistics, interview reports, and major/smaller companies in India, etc., but also in general about India’s cultural nuances (never thought he would know about dietary preferences of Jain’s)
Lastly, by the end of the process, Adam became a friend. I could reach out to him for any life advice and dilemmas (and I did!). He was happy to take out time and talk to me without a charge. I don’t know of many people and consultants who would do this. Also, his charges in general are lower than what normal Indian consultants charge.
