I did extensive research before selecting an MBA Admissions consultant and finally decided on going ahead with Adam Markus. My decision was based on the following factors:

1) Experience – Great past record of admitted students. Since he’s been working for a decade now, Adam has developed a strategy of applying to top B-schools. Also, he is updated on the current trends among top B-school adcoms which was really helpful especially during Covid-19.

2) Honest feedback – I asked and always received candid feedback from Adam. This was in both cases – if I was worrying too much about a good application, he would reassure me, or if I could do better in my approach, he would honestly share feedback. Adam does not spoon feed you by writing content for you, instead he asks thought provoking questions that give you direction to create a great application.

3) Price range – The pricing of his services is neither economical nor too expensive. Also, Adam has a great strategy if applying to 3-4 schools that avoids duplication of effort and thus ends up being better priced.

4) Recommendations – I also asked many current students or alumni from the B-schools I was targeting, as Adam was a common name. Many did not recommend the big firms as they assign multiple people for different aspects of the application. However, mostly all of them gave glowing recommendations for Adam specially since he overlooks your entire profile in a holistic way.
